I went to a jazz bar recently and it was a real intimate scene.They dimmed the lights had candles around the place.It actually looked liked my room with all the candles.I'M A SUCKER FOR CANDLES.And then a poet came up and did spoken word.Now for those who don't know what spoken word is,Its poetry but with rhythm.Well that's my definition of it anyway.But one the people spoke about something that was really personal to me.Which was perseverance. Sometimes we think that things are going to get handed to us on a silver platter as they say,but we and i do mean we as a whole.Need to know to put our dreams to reality and if we are really determined to get to where we want to be in life.Our behinds need to start working so we know at least "I'm trying to get to where i want to be in life."Recently I've taken time out from radio,djing singing to think about what i want to do in life .Allot of people just think they like doing what they do so maybe that's what they want to do in life.THAT'S NOT A JOB,ITS A HOBBY.But in taking time out to be with my Homey,GOD.I know that i want to become a radio DJ.Not because its fun. Yh once your at the top there is allot of perks like parties ,Meeting celebs and that but theres also the rubbish jobs in radio too.But its my passion and i don't really care of the bad stuff because at least I'm thier.I have actually never changed what i wanted to be since i was 12 years old.And by Gods grace i ain't about to change it so from,TOMORROW(its evening now so today's the last day of slacking)I'm going on my decks for my regular 5 hr practice maybe with breaks.And going back to the radio station on Thursday.Then I'm going to start My internship.Because i have actually missed every little thing that i do.Because this is what i love to do.As well as that I'm changing my wardrobe for a more universal look.Ive noticed that everyone is starting to dress the same.And going into the media industry i want to stand out.I'm still staying with my 80's wardrobe,and my technicolour self but I'm just going to do something different with it.The reason for that is a close friend of mine .Phoned me and me how she had seen me grow and she was proud of me.Which touched me dearly. Because me her dress alike she decided that we should change our look especially in the fact that we are both in the media industry but In different corners.So I'm taking her advice because lately I've been wanting a change in hair style and clothing.Including in everything as well I'm really really proud of 1 of my best Friends and seriously a true Friend I'm not joking.MS.D she is moving in life with her singing having all sorts of people top producers and mainstream artist wanting to work with her.And I'm proud of the fact that i have someone like her who is determined to get where she wants to be but as well pushes me to get to my position. :)
